As Rachyn already noted, those of you outside the UK will need to enclose International Reply Coupons. The number you'll need depends on the size of the return envelope.

The US and Canada have yet to adopt ISO paper sizes. The equivalent of US Letter (8.5" x 11") is A4 (210 x 297 mm, or 8.3" x 11.7"), which requires and extra fold to fit a US Letter envelope. A5 is 210 x 148 mm, or 8.3" x 5.8". To keep that photo of Rachel from being delivered with a crease across her nose, you'll need to provide an 8.5" x 11" envelope for the reply. This will have quite a bit of slack space, so maybe address your envelope so it may be folded in half around the card and glued down.

I believe I've stepped across some line; Or I've stumbled through the doorway of space and time.

    hey guys

so if you're in the US, you would need to get international stamps?

and also, put the letter into a big envelope and then include another self-addressed, stamped envelope if we want some kind of autograph, correct?

If you wrote a letter, how did you address Rachel? (Rachel, ms Stevens, etc)

has this worked for anyone in America yet?

I think that it's the same as in here. I can't get A5 size envelopes or international stamps, so I sent a paid reply coupon and I told them that I couldn't get A5 size envelopes here and neither international stamps. I haven't gotten a reply yet, but my friend Kate from US did the exact same thing (actually, I got the idea of the paid reply coupon from her) and 6 months later she got a reply, so it works.

As about how to address the letter, I wrote it to Mrs. Rachel Stevens.

Six months later? Sounds like Team Rachel needs to bring in some interns. If you're in a country that doesn't use ISO paper or envelopes, you may want to use larger envelopes, such as US Catalog envelopes (9x12"). One International Reply Coupon is worth postage for 20g (or a little less than 3/4 ounce). This should be enough, but if you're concerned, throw in a second IRC (in the US, they're $2.10 a pop). Also, be sure to obtain current IRCs. The older "Bejing" coupons expired 31 December 2009 and may no longer be used to obtain postage. The current "Nairobi" IRCs will remain valid through December 2013.

this is probably a stupid question lol but is there a small, sliver of a chance of any kind of response if I have a return address but no big envelope? I mean, it's worked for the other people I have written to, but Rachel's response protocol might be different. idk, just a thought
