Well, I think I'm ready to post #20-16, and officially begin the top 20 countdown! Each song in the top 20 will have it's own cover, followed by last year's rank and a small comment. Here we go!!!
#20. "Heaven Has To Wait" - LAST YEAR: #24(+4) - This is the first time "Heaven Has To Wait" has made the top 20, rising four spots to just make it in. This song was a ballad which was featured on Rachel's first solo album, "Funky Dory." It has beautiful lyrics and is definately deserving of the top 20.
#19. "Solid" - LAST YEAR: #22(+3) - This is also the first time "Solid" has made the top 20. Again, it is featured on Rachel's debut solo album. It's a great song and great to sing along to.
#18. "I Will Be There" - LAST YEAR: #18(=) - This song did not increase or decrease in rank this year, staying consistant at #18. This song is on Rachel's album "Come and Get It." I am actually very surprised at how this song has ranked the past two years. I thought it would be higher.
#17. "Knock on Wood" - LAST YEAR: #20(+3) - This song kicked off our countdown last year. And this year it is up three spots to number 17. Rachel recorded this song for a special disco compilation CD and has performed it a few times also.
#16. "Funny How" - LAST YEAR: #15(-1) - This is the second year that "Funny How" has been in the top 20, but this year, it falls just one spot to #16. This is a great song with a great beat on Rachel's second solo album. She also helped write it!
